Gain hands-on experience evaluating, planning, designing, and supporting management of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects including pipelines and pumping facilities.
Assess, develop, and support management of sustainability and resilience projects, including vulnerability and mitigation assessments and planning and design for utilities, municipalities, and cities.
Conduct fieldwork: site visits, sampling, water quality analyses, evaluate technologies, gather plant operations information, troubleshoot processes, and optimize systems.
Support preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials, and participate in client meetings.
Ensure project compliance with Arcadis practices and quality, health and safety standards; coordinate for timely project completion on time and budget.
Work independently and as part of a team across the U.S. and internationally; learn and use digital tools including SharePoint and BIM.
Requirements
Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or another closely related academic discipline.
Prior internship or coursework in water/wastewater, water resources, or related sectors.
EIT certification.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, solid work ethic, initiative, excellent written and verbal communication skills, self-motivated and team-oriented.
Solid understanding of engineering concepts, theories, and practices related to water, wastewater, and stormwater.
