About the role
- Entry-level Electrical Engineer contributing to electrical design projects for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Define design criteria, perform detailed calculations, develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specifications.
- Prepare construction cost estimates, conduct code compliance reviews, perform field investigations, draft technical reports and memorandums.
- Provide engineering support during construction: review equipment submittals, shop drawings, and respond to contractor RFIs.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with engineers from various disciplines throughout project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology, or a closely related field of study.
- 0-3 years’ experience (entry-level) in electrical engineering consulting.
- Experience in W/WW Electrical Engineering design (preferred).
- Experience with electrical engineering and design activities (power and standby power systems, lighting and motor control systems design) (preferred).
- Knowledge of Instrumentation, PLC controls and SCADA network architecture (preferred).
- Working to obtain or obtained Professional Engineer License (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
