About the role
- Serve as engineer on sediment and waterfront projects nationwide through site investigation, feasibility study, design, and construction phases of projects.
- Prepare feasibility studies, pre-design investigations, and remedial designs.
- Lead preparation of written documents and designs suitable for senior-level review.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Provide mentoring and training to junior engineers and scientists.
- Serve as technical resource on sediment remediation projects.
- Support business development opportunities including client meetings and proposal development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related field of practice
- 5 years of experience
- 10 years of experience (preferred)
- Professional Engineer license (preferred)
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related field of practice (preferred)
- Expertise in environmental dredging and dredged material management, sediment capping, in situ treatment or stabilization of sediments, soft sediment/geotechnical aspects of sediment remediation, groundwater-surface water interaction, hydrodynamic modeling, or resiliency.
