About the role
- performing planning studies, design, and field investigations for a variety of water and wastewater projects
- assessing, developing, and supporting the management of sustainability and resilience projects
- preparing comprehensive written technical reports, Preliminary Design Reports, evaluation memorandums, spreadsheets, written correspondence, permitting applications, and engaging presentations and audio-visual materials
- regular and effective communication with clients, coworkers, subcontractors, and county or agency review staff
- working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- managing multiple concurrent projects with varying deadlines and ensuring all deliverables are completed in alignment with project budgets, client expectations, regulatory requirements, and established timelines
Requirements
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Reliable, client-focused, and capable of working successfully both independently under the supervision of project managers as well as within a team.
- Flexible attitude towards assignments, with the initiative and ability to take on new projects and other challenges regularly.
- Knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, and practices related to water / wastewater / stormwater.
- Familiarity/experience with ArcGIS and/or hydraulic modeling software is ideal but not required.
