About the role
- responsible for leading strategy implementation to drive organic growth across our integrated water business
- report directly to the Southeast Resilience Water Area Leader
- lead our established, well-respected team to execute our already healthy project backlog
- drive our strategy for continued growth across the Southeast
- oversee and participate in people management activities including hiring, onboarding, staff development, performance management and terminations
- actively engage with and lead coastal North Carolina and South Carolina client account teams to expand business development opportunities and client relationships strategically
- collaborate with other Arcadis business units to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and foster business growth
- provide leadership for the operational performance of coastal North Carolina and South Carolina-based Water staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in water / wastewater / stormwater project management, design management, business operations, or related
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- P.E. License
- Strong client relationship skills with a successful track record of delivering engineering projects that meet or exceed client expectations
- Strong project management experience on municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects of various sizes
- Strong people management and mentoring skills
- Excellent technical engineering skills with clear and concise written and oral communication skills
