About the role
- Partner with regional/area leadership, practice leadership, and local technical experts to identify, pursue, and secure strategic project opportunities
- Lead and expand client account teams across the southwest
- Champion market development efforts by identifying emerging opportunities
- Build and lead high-performing account teams
- Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date pipeline of business development opportunities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering customized, value-driven solutions
- Travel regularly within the region to meet with clients
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 15 years’ experience in the water/wastewater municipal utility market
- Strong client relationship skills with a successful track record of positioning, pursuing, and winning projects in the municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater sectors
- Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking.
