About the role
- Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets.
- Serve as Project Manager and/or team leader on municipal water and wastewater projects
- Lead projects through planning, design, and construction phases of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, stormwater systems and distribution and collection systems
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Support marketing, business development, and client management
- Prepare complete construction packages and engineering deliverables
- Perform detailed engineering calculations and analyses
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Participate in industry conferences, associations, presentations, and leadership roles
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field of study
- 5 or more years of experience
- strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
- comprehensive knowledge of drinking water treatment design, including tools, techniques and methodologies
- client relationship skills including preparation and development of proposals and client management experience
- experience with planning, design and construction projects including water, wastewater and/or stormwater projects
- experience working with new and/or existing treatment plants, pump stations and/or conveyance systems
- supervisory and mentoring experience (supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical design/drafting staff)
- perform detailed engineering calculations and analyses using design software
