About the role
- leading and supporting the development of resiliency projects focused on urban drainage systems, streams, and rivers.
- devising and implementing both structural and non-structural mitigation solutions.
- integrating green and gray infrastructure approaches to enhance stormwater management and flood resilience.
- managing the planning, design, and construction administration phases of projects.
- ensuring full compliance with contracts, drawings, specifications, codes, statutes, rules, and regulations.
- providing technical expertise on multi-disciplinary projects acting as a design leader, QA/QC reviewer, or technical advisor.
- supervising and supporting the work of others offering mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
- direct client engagement to identify needs, deliver tailored solutions, and lead the growth of client relationships.
- playing a key role in the marketing and proposal phases of projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, or related.
- P.E. license or ability to acquire P.E. licensure in Texas within 6 months.
- 12+ years’ experience (preferred).
- Active involvement in local professional organizations, stormwater committees, or green infrastructure groups (preferred).
- Responsible Charge (Engineer of Record) or Project Management experience on stormwater projects of various sizes (preferred).
