About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in all aspects of site investigation and remediation projects
- Communicate and work closely with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Perform fieldwork including drilling oversight for soil sampling and/or groundwater well installation, groundwater sampling, excavation oversight, emergency response, operation and maintenance of remediation systems, and vapor intrusion/soil gas surveys
- Assist with writing and preparing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
- Coordinate tasks, compile and interpret data, prepare cost estimates, health and safety plans, reports, regulatory file reviews, proposals, project strategies, schedules, and budgets
- Conduct project-related research on historical data and regulations
- Prepare periodic status/program reports
- Analyze and interpret field data and oversee subcontractors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 2 years of related previous work experience
- Willingness to travel and perform field work
- OSHA 30 hr Construction Certification preferred
- OSHA Site Supervisor Certification preferred
- SHA 24-hour New Miner Training preferred
