About the role
- Arcadis is seeking a motivated Office Engineer to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). Work in partnership with Parsons and Mace as part of the MPA Delivery Partner team. Construction of a new two-track rail tunnel beneath the Hudson River and rehabilitation of the North River Tunnel. Review, track, process, and distribute submittals, RFIs, RFCs, design packages, shop drawings, product data, and work plans. Ensure submittals and deliverables are complete, accurate, and aligned with project requirements. Provide regular updates on the status of submittals, RFIs, and design reviews during progress meetings. Develop and manage tracking tools and reports using spreadsheets and Primavera Contract Management software. Maintain up-to-date progress prints of project documents including drawings and specifications. Prepare work plans, technical drawings, safety procedures, maintenance protocols, training requirements, specifications, cost estimates, and operational guidelines. Analyze technical data, specifications, and drawings/blueprints to support project execution. Assist in ensuring compliance with project schedules, budgets, technical standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Review and assess new regulations, codes, and standards for applicability to current and future projects. Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and project-related correspondence.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience working on large construction projects or recent graduate with relevant internship experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or other related field or equivalent work experience.
