About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support project administration work for multiple project managers and operations in the Southern California region
- Support project definition and closeout of complex freeway interchange projects
- Track project progress
- Prepare contract reports for management use
- Monitor project budgets
- Prepare and distribute routine project correspondence
- Support project managers with control and communication of project budget, scope, schedule, progress, and risks
- Review project documentation for risk, schedule, cost, change, billing, cash flow, and issue-resolution management
- Prepare and send monthly client invoices and verify compliance with contract terms
- Coordinate with subcontractors on billing requirements
- Provide and analyze financial project metric reports, including project revenue, profitability, and accounts receivable
- Prepare sophisticated reports and spreadsheets with high quality control and accuracy
- Set up new projects and update project forecasts in project management tools
- Participate in monthly project reviews with Finance Managers and Project Managers
- Travel occasionally to the office and site visits
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of relevant work experience in project administration, project operations, project controls, or project management
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting utility, infrastructure, engineering, construction, or capital projects in regulated industries
- General project management experience
- Ability to collaborate across a matrixed team
- Ability to participate in site visits and inspections as needed
- Impeccable communication skills
- Experience with Falcon DMS (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
