About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical and design support for water, wastewater, or industrial projects as part of a team
Perform fieldwork to support data collection
Correspond with project managers, project teams, and clients
Develop results and documentation for sharing with project managers and clients at meetings
Engage in a variety of market sectors with guidance from the existing team
Work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously
Collaborate with skilled engineers and receive mentorship
Support water, industrial, and environmental clients nationwide

Requirements

What you’ll need

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering degree
Experience with Microsoft Office
Prior internship experience in a consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment (preferred)
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit (preferred)
Ability to perform fieldwork and support data collection
Ability to correspond with project managers, project teams, and clients
Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
Strong communication skills
Team-oriented mindset
Dependability and proactive ownership of tasks
Must be willing to work in a hybrid arrangement in the Syracuse, NY office
