About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and update engineering drawings, site plans and utility layouts using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Assist with grading plans, alignments, profiles, cross-sections and detail drawings
  • Ensure drawings are accurate, complete and compliant with project standards
  • Organize and manage digital drawing files and documentation
  • Compile and update utility information from design teams, consultants and utility providers
  • Document and track coordination with utility companies and municipal partners
  • Maintain accurate utility data and coordination records
  • Provide logistical support for project meetings, workshops and field activities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
  • Support general administrative tasks and ongoing process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or another relevant discipline
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
