About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in systems design, hydraulic evaluation, design reports, construction documents and specifications, and construction oversight
  • Work on multiple environmental remediation and restoration assignments simultaneously
  • Provide field and office support for site investigations, including soil, water, and vapor sample collection
  • Assist project teams with remediation system operation
  • Support task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, quality assurance/quality control reviews, cost estimates, health and safety plan preparation, report writing, regulatory file review, proposal support, project strategy development, scheduling, and cost estimate preparation
  • Assist with design calculations for treatment technology selection and process design drawings for groundwater, industrial, water, and wastewater projects
  • Assist with air emissions characterization and quantification, air permitting, and compliance
  • Collaborate in a team-oriented environmental consulting environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline
  • Broad educational background with an emphasis on science and engineering principles and fundamentals
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to provide field and office support for site investigations, including soil, water, and vapor sample collection in all weather conditions
  • AutoCAD, GIS, and programming skills preferred
