About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help develop project schedules
Assist in developing functional schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities
Build detailed engineering, construction, and validation logic-driven/resource-loaded schedules
Analyze critical path updates and schedule progress
Evaluate schedule options
Communicate schedule status to the project manager, client, consultants, and others
Maintain project schedules and alert the project team to potential problem areas
Assist with or lead schedule and budget review meetings at construction sites or client facilities
Collect and record real-time schedule and performance data, including installed quantities, expended labor hours, and other progress measurements for direct-hire and subcontracted work

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years’ experience in project scheduling
Experience with construction project and program-level scheduling
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability and interest in training and mentoring junior-level staff
Hands-on experience in public buildings, infrastructure, water/wastewater and/or commercial construction projects preferred
Currently holds or has ability to obtain professional certification such as Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)
Proficiency with Primavera P6
