About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help develop project schedules
- Assist in developing functional schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities
- Build detailed engineering, construction, and validation logic-driven/resource-loaded schedules
- Analyze critical path updates and schedule progress
- Evaluate schedule options
- Communicate schedule status to the project manager, client, consultants, and others
- Maintain project schedules and alert the project team to potential problem areas
- Assist with or lead schedule and budget review meetings at construction sites or client facilities
- Collect and record real-time schedule and performance data, including installed quantities, expended labor hours, and other progress measurements for direct-hire and subcontracted work
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years’ experience in project scheduling
- Experience with construction project and program-level scheduling
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and interest in training and mentoring junior-level staff
- Hands-on experience in public buildings, infrastructure, water/wastewater and/or commercial construction projects preferred
- Currently holds or has ability to obtain professional certification such as Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)
- Proficiency with Primavera P6
