About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support an expanding portfolio of civil and environmental engineering projects
- Collaborate with experienced environmental and civil engineers on projects across North America
- Work on remediation, land development, and restoration projects for industrial-private, public sector, and agency-based clients
- Perform land development planning, hydraulic modeling/calculations, erosion and sediment control evaluations and layout, and earthwork site design
- Develop permit/construction-level drawings and details
- Prepare construction technical specifications
- Write reports for civil and environmental permitting
- Evaluate construction costs and prepare estimates
- Provide office-based construction support, including submittal reviews, field change documentation, and site layout information
Requirements
What you’ll need- Enrolled in or have earned a BS in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline; diploma required upon graduation
- Previous work experience through an internship or full-time experience in civil or environmental consulting or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Focus on health and safety
- Excellent teambuilding and organizational abilities
- Passion for pursuing a career in civil/environmental engineering
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Preferred: 1–2 years of previous work experience in civil or environmental consulting or a related field
- Preferred: Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or scheduled within the next 6 months
- Preferred: Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, or other terrain modeling design software
- Preferred: Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, such as HydroCAD, WinTR-55, PondPack, or HEC-RAS
- Spring (May) 2027 graduates are encouraged to apply
