About the role
- Oversee the processes for requesting, tracking, and delivering connectors, including Jira workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Agile ceremonies
- Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Scrum Teams dedicated to building connectors and ensure prerequisites are met
- Interact frequently with implementation managers who track delivery and own customer communications
- Work with senior leaders at Director and VP level reporting progress, blockers, and opportunities
- Collaborate with project managers across Engineering, Product, IT, and Operations to develop standard processes, practices, minimum standards and templates for project management
- Consult on complex delivery efforts by developing effort-based plans, supporting customer-facing teams, setting expectations, communicating progress and acting as escalation point for issues and risks
- Manage escalations: convene stakeholders, establish mitigation plans, and report status until resolution
- Establish metrics and dashboards in Jira and/or Smartsheet to inform leaders about status, queue depth, velocity, and inflow/outflow rates
- Manage the connector sprint planning process and support implementation managers on individual connector execution
- Develop velocity and throughput tracking mechanism to improve project timeline projections and capacity planning
Requirements
- 2-5 years of related work experience at a tech company
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated success in project management discipline
- Proven results delivering projects in Agile/Scrum environment
- Eagerness to learn, a detail-oriented mindset, and a creative approach to problem solving
- Excellent oral and written communication skills: Comfortable and confident communicating at all levels in the organization
- Demonstrated proficiency in use of project planning tools (SmartSheet, Jira, Confluence, etc.) as well as MS Office tools
- A passion for collaboration and problem solving (preferred)
- Experience in healthcare, especially value-based care and population health management (preferred)
- Experience designing and refactoring processes in a high-paced operational environment (preferred)
- Proven track record of collaborating across teams and with senior leaders in an organization (preferred)
- Exposure to AWS products (S3, EC2, Athena, Redshift, etc.) or Apache products (Scylla, Zeppelin, Nifi, Hudi, etc.) a plus (preferred)
- Project Management Certification (CAPM or PMP) (preferred)
- Experience leading a cross-functional team or project(s) and promoting a collaborative environment (remote experience a plus) (preferred)
