About the role

  • Arcade is a San Francisco-based company helping teams create AI-driven interactive product demos.
  • We’re looking for product-minded AI Engineers excited to push the boundaries of AI. You’ll work across advanced prompting strategies, retrieval-augmented generation, context orchestration, and dynamic model routing to create intelligent, multimodal experiences.
  • Your work will power interactive demos as well other rich media workflows that feel magical to end users.
  • As part of a small, fast-moving team, you’ll collaborate tightly with design and engineering to prototype novel capabilities and own them through to production.
  • You’re autonomous, able to build, iterate, and ship at speed, and have experience working cross-functionally to get stuff done.
  • You care about creating beautiful (delightful) products, and your low ego means you're ready to tackle technical challenges.
  • Be part of a small, highly technical team where engineers ship bold ideas end-to-end.
  • Enjoy onsite in San Francisco on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Compensation: $130k-$280k, plus meaningful equity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience building and maintaining production systems within AI/LLM contexts.
  • Ability to work with LLM pipelines, vector search, agent frameworks, and/or multimodal tools.
  • Experience optimizing applications to perform at their best.
