Director, Employee Experiences

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Building, leading, and executing an end-to-end employee experience strategy
- Managing a portfolio of employee events and experiential programs
- Ensuring every moment reflects our culture, values, and commitment to inclusivity
- Leading strategic planning, vision and multi-year roadmap for employee experiences
- Delivering a portfolio of annual large-scale events, including Leadership Summit and Purpose & Values Awards
- Designing a large-scale creative vision to elevate employee experiences
- Championing the company’s purpose and values
- Elevating storytelling through partnership with Communications and other teams
- Consulting with business function leaders to design solutions that support the experiences roadmap
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of event management experience, along with a post-secondary diploma or certification in Event Management, Communications, Project Management, Marketing or equivalent experience in lieu
- You are incredibly organized with an eye for detail and accuracy
- You are an empathetic and proactive communicator, and care about engaging people in an inclusive manner
- You have exceptional presentation, storytelling, marketing and communication skills
- You have a strong portfolio of designing and delivering culture and engagement programs at scale
- You have a deep understanding of employee engagement principles, behavioral insights, and experience design
- You have a creative, brand-forward mindset with a passion for crafting memorable moments
- You activate teams around you through energizing and inspiring experiential excellence
- You are open and approachable with a collaborative, team-centric mentality
- You consistently evaluate and evolve existing processes, and inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement within your team
- You have a highly collaborative working style and have a demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships
- You establish systems and programs to ensure projects, events, and processes are running smoothly
- You have a demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You embrace a growth mindset and are passionate about learning and growing in your role
