About the role

  • Design on-brand experiences that reflect Arc’teryx purpose and values while delivering logistical excellence across event timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Lead the planning and production of assigned employee events, including experience design, vendor management, registration, communications, site operations, partner collaboration, and on-site execution
  • Contribute to building a global playbook for employee events that balances centralized brand standards with regional flexibility and ownership
  • Manage relationships with external vendors including event production companies, AV partners, tenting, catering, venues, and permits
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners (e.g., Product Education, Brand, Employee Impact) to ensure cohesive and inclusive experience delivery
  • Build and present compelling PowerPoint/Keynote decks to communicate concepts, strategies, and post-event impact to stakeholders
  • Translate abstract concepts or cultural ideas into tangible event touchpoints (installations, activations, rituals, programming)
  • Bring a thoughtful and inclusive approach to event planning with consideration for environmental impact, accessibility, and participant well-being
  • Stay ahead of trends in live experience, experiential design, and outdoor events to inspire ongoing innovation
  • Leverage communication platforms and explore/implement technology solutions that support event management including registration, translation, hybrid engagement, and post-event analytics

Requirements

  • 5+ years of event management experience
  • Post-secondary diploma or certification in Event Management, Communications, Project Management, or equivalent experience in lieu
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Empathetic and proactive communicator; cares about engaging people in an inclusive manner
  • Strong understanding of event management and experience design
  • Highly collaborative with demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • Experience establishing systems and programs to ensure projects, events, and processes run smoothly
  • Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • Growth mindset and passion for learning
  • Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • Commitment to ethical decision-making and doing what is right
