About the role
- Lead a team delivering best-in-class guest experiences and store performance
- Manage oversight and leadership of the floor across five pillars: experience, product, community, operations and people
- Lead training and coaching of a high-performing team using the Arc’teryx Guest Journey
- Champion floor leadership by leading from the floor ~80% of the week
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, hiring, training, development, performance management, termination
- Run a profitable store via sales targets, labor planning and controllable expense discipline
- Own hours management and scheduling with focus on guest and employee experience
- Build community partnerships and identify brand ambassadors/influencers
- Own product and inventory management including product walkthroughs, visual merchandising and sell-through
- Use company tools to plan store budget and labor hours and be accountable for results
- Lead weekly leadership meetings covering People, Product, Community, Operations and Finance
- Perform Product Guide, Lead and Assistant Store Manager responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- 3-5 years of leadership and retail management experience
- Dynamic leadership skills with ability to recruit, hire, train, lead, motivate, retain and develop future leaders
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to evolve to achieve results
- Passion for service and delivering an exceptional experience for guests
- Proven financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting sales, gross margin, expense control and net profit
- Ability to set a clear vision and align team around common goals
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent time management and problem-solving ability
- Efficient with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, Black Friday and holiday season as required
