About the role

  • Lead the work to bring Arc’teryx to life in Specialty Retail in British Columbia
  • Support efforts to build community in Brand Stores and National Accounts
  • Ensure a seamless brand experience across the territory
  • Scout out and work with the best Outdoor, Climb, and Ski retailers
  • Manage your orderbook to ensure best possible fulfillment and in-season sales opportunities
  • Use experience and data to strengthen forecasts and planning
  • Travel your territory to sell, stoke, and educate on the Arc’teryx brand (30 – 40% travel commitment)
  • Support training, coaching, onboarding, and regular communication as it relates to ERP system, SAP
  • Manage the wholesale showroom at Arc’teryx HQ in North Vancouver

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
  • You have 5+years of sales experience in outdoor sales or related industry; ideally selling apparel and footwear
  • You have a strong ability to build relationships, sell, influence, and negotiate
  • You have strong presentation and communication skills
  • You have excellent organizational skills, analytical ability, and a track record of strategic planning
  • You are optimistic about the future and what can be achieved, and listen to others’ needs
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office
  • You have the ability to work well independently and in a team
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with unwavering commitment
