About the role
- Lead the work to bring Arc’teryx to life in Specialty Retail in British Columbia
- Support efforts to build community in Brand Stores and National Accounts
- Ensure a seamless brand experience across the territory
- Scout out and work with the best Outdoor, Climb, and Ski retailers
- Manage your orderbook to ensure best possible fulfillment and in-season sales opportunities
- Use experience and data to strengthen forecasts and planning
- Travel your territory to sell, stoke, and educate on the Arc’teryx brand (30 – 40% travel commitment)
- Support training, coaching, onboarding, and regular communication as it relates to ERP system, SAP
- Manage the wholesale showroom at Arc’teryx HQ in North Vancouver
Requirements
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
- You have 5+years of sales experience in outdoor sales or related industry; ideally selling apparel and footwear
- You have a strong ability to build relationships, sell, influence, and negotiate
- You have strong presentation and communication skills
- You have excellent organizational skills, analytical ability, and a track record of strategic planning
- You are optimistic about the future and what can be achieved, and listen to others’ needs
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office
- You have the ability to work well independently and in a team
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with unwavering commitment
