About the role

  • Define, own, and activate the global commercial strategy for the Veilance product line
  • Oversee all commercial channels: Ecommerce, Wholesale, and Retail to ensure a cohesive, high-performing marketplace approach
  • Partner closely with the Veilance General Manager to translate long-term brand and business strategy into marketplace execution
  • Collaborate with the Veilance Merchandising team to align product, distribution, and marketplace priorities
  • Partner with Regional General Managers (NAM, EMEA, APAC, China) and channel leaders to drive in-market business results
  • Provide global frameworks, direction, and programs that enable regions to deliver sustainable growth and profitability
  • Lead a small, high-impact team; build, lead, and mentor team members to execute global commercial strategies
  • Drive global alignment across channels and regions and design a best-in-class Veilance sales program
  • Build and manage key global partnerships and guide pricing strategies, program terms, and account management support
  • Use ecommerce forecasts to inform inventory buys, performance marketing budgets, and capacity planning
  • Represent Veilance collections at cross-functional stage gate and go-to-market milestones
  • Drive achievement of monthly/quarterly sales objectives and optimize growth across channels
  • Manage budgets for effective resource allocation, forecasting, and profitability
  • Ensure on-time delivery of all commercial accountabilities within the Innovation to Customer (I2C) calendar
  • Partner with Demand Planning and Supply Chain to align seasonal forecasts with revenue goals and inventory risk
  • Lead customer feedback loops, market trend analysis, and competitive insights to inform product planning
  • Travel internationally for trade shows, strategic account visits, and business development opportunities

Requirements

  • You have a degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Strategic Planning or the equivalent, with 10+ years’ experience in sales, digital and ecommerce, retail environments and/or wholesale markets
  • You have extensive and direct experience working successfully in a nuanced, matrixed organization, with a keen understanding of key market needs and differences across North America, EMEA, and Asia
  • You have a ‘Yes, and’ mentality, an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy collaborating to build new strategies and processes
  • You’ve built a successful career through collaboration and sharing inspiring ideas that have led to significant and successful campaigns in the outdoor/fashion industry (both vertical and wholesale)
  • You are obsessed with retailer service and have strong relationships in the industry
  • You have several years experience leading others and able to set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives
  • You are expertly able to articulate the brand values, brand positioning, as well as product point of difference to internal and external stakeholders
  • You have a proven track record in developing and leading the execution of a multi-year business strategy and collaborating with senior stakeholders
  • You are an influential leader; possessing high emotional intelligence, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse cross-functional groups at all levels of the business
  • You demonstrate tireless integrity in driving excellence to milestones and deliverables
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You have the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
