About the role

  • Provide high-quality psychotherapy to a diverse community of kids, teens, and high-functioning adults.
  • Deliver confidential telehealth services and manage a regular caseload (minimum 12 clients).
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships and facilitate meaningful client growth and transformation.
  • Participate in peer support groups, consultations, and weekly clinical leadership support.
  • Collaborate with Silver Lake Psychology leadership to receive clinical coaching and curated client matches.
  • Take advantage of opportunities for supervision, evaluations, and professional development to grow your practice.
  • Design a flexible schedule and exercise clinical freedom with minimal administrative paperwork.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited program in a counseling-related field (Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology).
  • Must hold valid licensure/credential in the state of Virginia as one of: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD or PhD).
  • Ability to manage a caseload of at least 12 clients.
  • Warm, empathetic, and skilled at building strong therapeutic relationships.
  • Equipped to provide confidential telehealth services with the necessary technology.
  • Committed to continuous professional growth and learning.
  • Self-starter mindset with flexibility and a focus on providing excellent client care.
  • Ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor (Contract role).
