About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and elevate quality across Arbital Health's SaaS platform and AI-driven capabilities
Design and implement scalable automated testing solutions, primarily for APIs
Perform end-to-end UI testing
Collaborate with developers, product managers, actuaries, UX designers, and other engineers
Analyze requirements and design automated test cases
Write, maintain, and scale automated test code for the full stack, APIs, and data validation
Implement automated UI, API, and performance monitoring tests
Validate new features and detect regressions
Architect and implement scalable test frameworks
Own and continuously enhance the QA automation lifecycle and infrastructure
Manage and monitor automated and manual test execution to support continuous delivery
Drive automation strategy and ensure robust, reliable releases

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience in QA Automation
Strong programming skills and hands-on experience writing automation code in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar
Proven experience using UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
Experience using AI tools to accelerate QA work, including generating test cases, writing automation code, and analyzing test failures
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build/release tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Critical eye for implementing shift left and value over volume QA philosophies
Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and an analytical mindset
Prior healthcare experience is a plus
Startup experience is a plus
Fluency with AI coding tools
Experience testing AI features in production, validating retrieval quality, and understanding hallucination risks and prompt sensitivity
