About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and elevate quality across Arbital Health's SaaS platform and AI-driven capabilities
- Design and implement scalable automated testing solutions, primarily for APIs
- Perform end-to-end UI testing
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, actuaries, UX designers, and other engineers
- Analyze requirements and design automated test cases
- Write, maintain, and scale automated test code for the full stack, APIs, and data validation
- Implement automated UI, API, and performance monitoring tests
- Validate new features and detect regressions
- Architect and implement scalable test frameworks
- Own and continuously enhance the QA automation lifecycle and infrastructure
- Manage and monitor automated and manual test execution to support continuous delivery
- Drive automation strategy and ensure robust, reliable releases
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in QA Automation
- Strong programming skills and hands-on experience writing automation code in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar
- Proven experience using UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate QA work, including generating test cases, writing automation code, and analyzing test failures
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build/release tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Critical eye for implementing shift left and value over volume QA philosophies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and an analytical mindset
- Prior healthcare experience is a plus
- Startup experience is a plus
- Fluency with AI coding tools
- Experience testing AI features in production, validating retrieval quality, and understanding hallucination risks and prompt sensitivity
