About the role
- Ensure that the deliverables from individual projects meet the required quality standards and align with the program's objectives.
- Lead and oversee project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Establish clear communication channels between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management. Regular reporting on program status, risks, and accomplishments is crucial. Develop and communicate project strategies and goals.
- Create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Manage project risks and issues, providing solutions.
- Responsible for resource planning, cost estimation, schedule management, work prioritization, budget development and cost control for their projects
- Ensure quality control and deliverables meet standards.
- Defines and understands the impact of project and program level risks, issues, and escalations. Actively drives their resolution.
- Ensure efficient use of resources to optimize project outcomes and minimize costs. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
- Directly supervise other project managers, including regular feedback discussions and delivering quarterly & annual reviews
- Coordinate with Argano Delivery Leadership to drive promotion, merit increases and other compensation related discussions for direct reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field preferred.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in project management or related roles. Demonstrated experience in leading project teams, including managing and mentoring team members.
- Experience managing increasingly complex and larger-scale projects.
- Experience in budget management and financial aspects of projects.
- Knowledge of IT industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Experience supporting team members and providing constructive feedback.
- People Management experience preferred.
