About the role

  • Lead implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Commissions solutions
  • Act as lead consultant and advisor to clients to align solutions with sales performance goals
  • Conduct workshops to gather requirements and present design options
  • Provide training to client administrators and end-users on SAP Commissions
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships and act as trusted partner for resolving system issues
  • Lead and mentor junior consultants and team members in SAP Commissions and Embedded Analytics
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and quality assurance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, IT, Finance) to implement seamless solutions
  • Implement SAP Embedded Analytics: build dashboards, configure data models, set up data pipelines, and develop forecasting models

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience with SAP Commissions and related SAP technologies
  • Proven track record of leading SAP Commissions implementations, including workflow and analytics
  • Strategic thinking and ability to align technical solutions with business goals
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge of software development & implementation life cycles
  • Experience with major relational databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Proficient in SAP Commissions configuration (compensation plan design, rules/formula config, participant management, calculation engine, pipelines, stagehook)
  • Expertise in analytics (SAP Analytics Cloud, CDS Views, SAC Stories, advanced reporting)
  • Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio/Web IDE and Advanced Workflow
  • Programming languages: Groovy or Python preferred
  • Web technologies: JavaScript, XML, CSS, HTML
  • Experience with SSIS and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors
  • Certifications in SAP Commissions or SAP Analytics considered an asset
