Lead complex, multi-team SaaS software programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and in-scope execution.
Oversee coordination and administration of all aspects of projects including planning, organizing, leading, and risk and quality control of project activities.
Establish executive-level trust and credibility with clients and act as primary client point of contact.
Monitor scope, schedule, and budget and ensure project teams track on time and on budget.
Establish and foster governance structure within project implementation lifecycle.
Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks; maintain risk registers and provide visibility/escalation.
Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, communication strategies, and implementation roadmaps.
Ensure implementation quality meets industry standards and customer expectations; drive client satisfaction and referenceable clients.
Facilitate decision-making, remove blockers, and escalate risks proactively.
Share project insights with other departments and support continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and driving best practices.
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability across distributed teams.
Act as executive sponsor for key accounts and build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders on program status, successes, challenges, and next steps.
Help develop the PMO business model and mechanisms for self-sustaining growth.
Requirements
12+ years in project management, with 5+ years in leadership roles, ideally in SaaS implementation environments.
Proven experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects from concept to delivery.
Expertise in Agile methodologies and strong understanding of SaaS delivery models and product development lifecycles.
Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and familiarity with DevOps practices.
Understanding of software security and privacy regulations (GDPR, SOC 2).
Strong stakeholder management including C-level executives and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to senior leadership.
Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with diverse teams.
Skilled in risk management, decision-making, and driving project success in fast-paced environments.
Ability to navigate competing priorities and deliver solutions under pressure.
Solid understanding of SaaS business models and customer lifecycle (onboarding, support, etc.).
Familiar with integrating customer feedback into product development and delivery.
Knowledge of emerging SaaS technologies, AI integrations, and market trends.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business).
PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification highly preferred.
Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) experience a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 20% sometimes on short notice depending on client needs.
