About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, develop, and execute a comprehensive calendar of guest events, recreational activities, fitness programming, wellness initiatives, and social gatherings on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.
Oversee the daily operation, cleanliness, organization, and safety of community amenities, including fitness facilities, common areas, outdoor spaces, recreation rooms, and activity areas.
Manage all aspects of event execution, including planning, logistics, vendor coordination, setup, breakdown, communication, and follow-up.
Develop and manage the recreation department budget, track expenditures, and provide regular reporting to property leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Hospitality, Kinesiology, Sports Management, Wellness, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in recreation programming, activities coordination, wellness programming, event planning, hospitality activities, or community engagement required.
Budget management experience required.
CPR and First Aid certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic event management, scheduling, or activity planning tools.
