About the role
- Support the objectives of the Finance and Accounting department
- Assist operating departments with forecasting, budget, labor and inventory controls, analysis, auditing
- Review monthly operational financial reports and assist in preparation of client facing financial reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports to monitor performance areas such as labor, direct cost, revenue, expenses, and profit
- Collaborate with managers and directors to identify and drive key levers to improve margins
- Train and motivate staff in financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Assist with operations support as needed
- Assist in oversight of Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
- Assist in internal annual audits for sight locations
Requirements
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in service industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting or finance
- Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
- Hands on pro-active approach with ability to work well autonomously
- Possess relevant financial experience impacting key P&L and balance sheet lines
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in a collaborative way with business partners, key employees, senior leadership, and client groups
- A self-starter to quickly learn through online tools and peers.
- Presentation Skills, ability to interact at any level of organization.
