About the role

  • Operate, maintain, repair, and install major building mechanical systems, including HVAC and refrigeration
  • Maintain critical operational systems and infrastructure to ensure efficiency and reliability
  • Perform system and facility evaluations to identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Install, inspect, test, diagnose, and repair HVAC equipment supporting: Air conditioning and heating, Cooling water systems, Refrigeration, ice machines, and ventilation
  • Calibrate, repair, and maintain pneumatic control systems
  • Utilize and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS), including troubleshooting, repairs, and updates
  • Clean, inspect, service, and replace filters in air handling and heating units; document completed work
  • Clean and maintain ductwork, grills, shaftways, and exhaust systems
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records
  • Inspect and calibrate wall temperature sensors and related controls
  • Respond to emergency HVAC and building system issues, including on-call response
  • Manage HVAC service tickets within the My Workplace R&M system, including opening, updating, and closing work orders
  • Track inventory, tools, and materials needed to maintain continuous operations
  • Coordinate work with electrical, plumbing, and other skilled trades
  • Support general building services teams as needed during facility or system emergencies
  • Maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude with Samsung leadership, staff, and coworkers
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, regulations, and Aramark policies

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or corporate facilities maintenance
  • Strong experience with HVAC systems
  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and air handling systems
  • Blue Seal License – Required
  • New Jersey HVAC Certification – Preferred
  • Knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems preferred
  • Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a larger facilities team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply lease terms and client contracts
  • IFMA membership or certifications (FMP, SFP, CFM) preferred
  • Ability to follow safety procedures due to physical job demands
