About the role
- Coordinate and review month-end close, reporting and processing deadlines
- Help prepare monthly financial reporting and annual budget reporting
- Assist in providing the necessary training to team members and set overall team goals and objectives
- Assist with Accounts Receivables and Payables
- Collaborating with Client, General Managers, and Operations
- Ensure accounting controls and processes are in place, reviewed and tested
- Review daily sales, daily banking, and other daily duties
- Monthly revenue reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with capital REQs
- License Renewals
- Opening and Closing planning: Hiring, training, location control training
- Monthly Cashier and Internal Audit controls
- Monthly reporting due to National Park Service
- Daily review of Vault reporting, cashier log, variance reports
- Assist with annual audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or experience
- Minimum 1-3 years accounting and management experience
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Written communication skills demonstrated through specification documentation, other communications
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office platforms
