About the role

  • Responsible for performing purchasing and receiving tasks, which may be both physical and administrative in function.
  • Interact with customers, visitors, vendors and employees in a professional and cheerful manner.
  • Assists Purchasing Manager with tasks in relation to inventory management, ordering, record review and maintenance.
  • Answers product inquiries, where necessary.
  • Investigates and resolves escalations related to deliveries discrepancies.
  • Maintain departmental memos and informative postings.
  • Operate technology, systems, and software such as copy/scanners, computers, MS Office and Birch Street.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • 2+ years administrative support experience.
  • Excellent written/interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Purchasing and receiving experience, 1 year minimum.
  • Strong digital literacy is required of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Experience with Birch Street software is a plus.
