About the role
- Responsible for performing purchasing and receiving tasks, which may be both physical and administrative in function.
- Interact with customers, visitors, vendors and employees in a professional and cheerful manner.
- Assists Purchasing Manager with tasks in relation to inventory management, ordering, record review and maintenance.
- Answers product inquiries, where necessary.
- Investigates and resolves escalations related to deliveries discrepancies.
- Maintain departmental memos and informative postings.
- Operate technology, systems, and software such as copy/scanners, computers, MS Office and Birch Street.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- 2+ years administrative support experience.
- Excellent written/interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
- Purchasing and receiving experience, 1 year minimum.
- Strong digital literacy is required of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Experience with Birch Street software is a plus.
