About the role
- Greet and assist guests during late check-ins and early check-outs, ensuring a welcoming experience.
- Process reservations, handle guest inquiries, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Perform nightly audit procedures, including reconciling daily transactions, balancing accounts, and preparing revenue reports.
- Operate property management and point-of-sale systems to complete cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Answer phone calls and emails, deliver messages, and provide information about lodge services and local attractions.
- Maintain security and safety standards throughout the property during overnight hours.
- Assist with front desk tasks such as posting charges, verifying room status, and preparing for the next day’s operations.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with appropriate departments when needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial and guest service activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or accounting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle overnight shifts.
- Proficiency with property management systems and basic accounting principles.
- Must be 18 years or older; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
