About the role

  • Oversee and coordinate operations related to bus washing, public area cleaning, recycling programs, and general maintenance
  • Ensure cleanliness, functionality, and sustainability of all facilities
  • Manage a team and maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Supervise and schedule staff for public area cleaning
  • Manage and enhance organization’s recycling initiatives
  • Oversee preventive maintenance for facilities and equipment
  • Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning, recycling, and maintenance personnel
  • Prepare and manage budgets for operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in facilities management or custodial services, including supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures and equipment
  • Knowledge and comfortability with Microsoft Office and Web-Based Payroll Systems
  • Familiarity with recycling programs and sustainability initiatives
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and technical systems (e.g., washing equipment, HVAC)
