About the role

  • Develop and deliver a sales strategy for non-matchday events, ensuring revenue targets are met
  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through market research, networking and strategic partnerships
  • Create compelling proposals and bespoke packages tailored to client needs, ensuring profitability and operational excellence
  • Host site visits, attend trade shows and represent Principality Stadium at industry events to build strong relationships and elevate our brand
  • Lead sales and coordination of special events, ensuring they deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery and outstanding customer experiences
  • Maintain accurate records, forecast pipelines and report on key performance metrics

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in event sales or business development within a high-profile venue or hospitality setting
  • Proven ability to grow revenue and meet commercial targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and a passion for excellence
  • Creative and up to date with industry trends
