About the role
- Lead banquet staff to execute events smoothly from setup to breakdown
- Oversee room arrangements, décor, and food/beverage service
- Communicate with clients to confirm event details and special requests
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health standards
- Train, assign, and supervise staff during events
- Manage post event teardown, inventory, and reporting
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server or in food service role (3-5 years)
- Demonstrates excellent customer service and leadership skills
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
- Must be able to obtain a food safety certification
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
