About the role
- Oversee culinary operations for the site
- Train and supervise kitchen personnel
- Develop and standardize production recipes
- Ensure quality, safety, and sanitation in the kitchen
- Lead catering events and offer culinary instruction
- Maintain financial systems and budgets
- Implement company policies and ensure compliance with food regulations
Requirements
- Two to three years of post-high school education, preferably a culinary degree
- Two to three years in a related position
- Knowledge of food hygiene including HACCP
- Experience of cash handling, banking, and stock management
- Hands-on operator with ability to lead by example through operational excellence
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience in a similar food service environment
- Ability to suggest and implement improvements and positive changes
