About the role

  • Build business partnerships with customers and meet their expectations
  • Obtain customer information through ongoing conversations with key decision-makers
  • Capitalize on sales opportunities and focus on account retention
  • Identify opportunities for new business and increase revenue through current customers
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers while providing outstanding customer service
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of products; verify delivery schedules and maintain quality
  • Operate Company vehicle safely and follow the rules of the road
  • Comply with DOT requirements and maintain inventory levels at customer locations
  • Communicate effectively with management and report on customer issues

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a position requiring heavy public contact
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain DOT certification to operate DOT regulated vehicles
  • Ability to communicate at high efficiency and effectiveness with clients and operations staff
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing demands
  • Incumbent is proficient or can be trained to sell product to customers
  • Must have good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with the CMV policy and a valid driver's license
