About the role
- Build business partnerships with customers and meet their expectations
- Obtain customer information through ongoing conversations with key decision-makers
- Capitalize on sales opportunities and focus on account retention
- Identify opportunities for new business and increase revenue through current customers
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers while providing outstanding customer service
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of products; verify delivery schedules and maintain quality
- Operate Company vehicle safely and follow the rules of the road
- Comply with DOT requirements and maintain inventory levels at customer locations
- Communicate effectively with management and report on customer issues
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a position requiring heavy public contact
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain DOT certification to operate DOT regulated vehicles
- Ability to communicate at high efficiency and effectiveness with clients and operations staff
- Ability to respond quickly to changing demands
- Incumbent is proficient or can be trained to sell product to customers
- Must have good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with the CMV policy and a valid driver's license
