About the role
- Educate students about sustainability efforts within campus dining through tabling events
- Assist in creating and curating engaging social media content
- Comply with the Carolina Dining Services Brand Guide to create digital & print collateral in Canva or Adobe programs
- Write educational content for the CDS website, sustainability newsletter, and upcoming sustainability blog
- Promote current local offerings via digital Farmer Spotlights and our biweekly local chalkboard in the dining halls
Requirements
- Current UNC student
- Ability to work on campus for 4-6 hours per week during business hours
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong photography skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
- Beginner to Intermediate expertise in Canva
- Intermediate expertise in Capcut, Premier Pro or any additional video editing software
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to understand and use Microsoft Office/Google Drive
