About the role

  • Educate students about sustainability efforts within campus dining through tabling events
  • Assist in creating and curating engaging social media content
  • Comply with the Carolina Dining Services Brand Guide to create digital & print collateral in Canva or Adobe programs
  • Write educational content for the CDS website, sustainability newsletter, and upcoming sustainability blog
  • Promote current local offerings via digital Farmer Spotlights and our biweekly local chalkboard in the dining halls

Requirements

  • Current UNC student
  • Ability to work on campus for 4-6 hours per week during business hours
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong photography skills
  • Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
  • Beginner to Intermediate expertise in Canva
  • Intermediate expertise in Capcut, Premier Pro or any additional video editing software
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and use Microsoft Office/Google Drive
