About the role
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of an account with multiple remote sites
- Manage employees effectively through appropriate coaching and professional development
- Ensure on-site guests/clients receive high-quality customer service
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, and perform other finance-related operational tasks
- Place orders for all required supplies
- Monitor and train employees, and create schedules to ensure the highest possible level of customer service
- Perform reception duties and all other administrative responsibilities associated with the role
- Submit daily, weekly, and biweekly reports to the client and Aramark
- Maintain regular communications through daily site meetings
- Be responsible for establishing a safety-first culture on-site
- Conduct all required facility checks related to kitchen, food services, commissary, and maintenance
- Support HR with frontline employee payroll processing and assist with employee concerns
- Support the camp director by effectively controlling inventory and communicating any forecasting issues
Requirements
- Minimum three years of management experience, preferably in a remote camp or in the hospitality/tourism sector
- At least three years of administrative experience (WHMIS or food safety certification is an asset)
- Proven leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and comfortable with computer systems
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work in a unionized environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
