About the role
- Work with clients to elicit business, technical, and non-functional requirements.
- Work with clients and colleagues to provide and maintain detailed solution design proposals.
- Define data requirements adapted to use cases and traffic patterns for all system destinations
- Work with 3rd Parties to analyze and document their connectivity & API capabilities (in collaboration with the partner / integration team).
- Analyze and contribute to the Product Roadmap and identify features that matter to our clients.
- Work closely with internal development teams to define or refine Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with clients and colleagues to implement, monitor, and constantly improve solutions.
- Work with technical providers during development and certification.
- Work with the program management team to help to ensure that clients are getting maximum value from Hapi’s products and services.
- Represent Hapi to our clients, which will include the above items as well as ad-hoc consulting, presentations, reporting, and meetings.
Requirements
- The Hospitality Expert: You have a solid background in hospitality tech. You know your way around a Property Management System (PMS) and understand the nuances of the guest journey.
- The Integration Specialist: You’re comfortable discussing REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON, and middleware. You understand the challenges of legacy hotel systems and the beauty of modern cloud-based stacks.
- The Communicator: Your English is fluent and precise. You can explain a technical bottleneck to a Project Manager and a business requirement to a Senior Developer with equal ease.
- The Problem Solver: When a partner says "it’s not working," you don't just pass the ticket - you dig into the logs, find the "why," and propose the "how."
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to simplify complex architecture and technology terms for non-technical audiences
- 5+ years of experience working in solution engineering, or a similar role in the hospitality industry
- Ability to apply business analysis techniques and processes
- Project management and leadership skills are essential.
- Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems, preferably including OPERA
- Experience with AWS
- Experience in Hospitality-based CRM Solutions preferred
