About the role
- Manage and strengthen the database layer for housing management solutions
- Hands-on with SQL Server, report development and troubleshooting
- Query and index optimization, data migrations, and troubleshooting
- Work closely with Developers, QA, and Business Analysts in an Agile team
- Support data quality and customer success by identifying and correcting data inconsistencies
- Diagnose and resolve SQL issues and provide on-call support when urgent problems arise
- Design and deliver reports using SSRS and Crystal Reports
- Lead data migrations and transformations from competitor systems
- Monitor and tune SQL queries, indexes, and procedures for performance and stability
- Create and maintain clear documentation for database changes and troubleshooting
Requirements
- Hands-on experience as an MS SQL Developer on enterprise-level projects
- Proven ability to write, tune, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
- Proficient with Crystal Reports and SSIS
- Exposure to, or interest in, Power BI and cloud technologies
- Analytical mindset with ability to diagnose performance issues and resolve SQL-based bugs
- Comfortable executing data migrations, transformations, and custom manipulations
- Ability to work in Agile teams and participate in Agile ceremonies
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ownership and reliability in monitoring systems and documenting fixes
