About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure accounting for loan receivable balance is in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
Design and execute financial controls and reporting
Process payments (checks, ACH, credit card, wire transfers)
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
Identify opportunities for automation and operational process improvement
Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Account Servicing teams on error remediation
Work with external auditors on financial statement and SOC 1 audit

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
4 years of progressive experience in accounting or 3 years of public accounting experience
Experience and working knowledge of U.S. GAAP required
Attention to detail and accuracy required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in working with large data sets, preferred
