About the role
- The Underwriting Assistant is responsible for the verification of customer contracts prior to or after funding.
- They will take inbound phone calls and forward them to the appropriate team as well as completing any administrative duties.
- Essential Functions: Greets customers by phone in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
- Collect all necessary information to accurately note accounts and applications
- Ensure timely verification of contracts in support of company objectives
- Ability to recognize problems and effectively communicate to the proper team for resolution
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- 2 years of experience in Credit, Customer Service, or related work experience, required
- Financial industry experience preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
