About the role

  • The Underwriting Assistant is responsible for the verification of customer contracts prior to or after funding.
  • They will take inbound phone calls and forward them to the appropriate team as well as completing any administrative duties.
  • Essential Functions: Greets customers by phone in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
  • Collect all necessary information to accurately note accounts and applications
  • Ensure timely verification of contracts in support of company objectives
  • Ability to recognize problems and effectively communicate to the proper team for resolution

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2 years of experience in Credit, Customer Service, or related work experience, required
  • Financial industry experience preferred
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
