About the role
- Overseeing customer, vendor and dealer accounts payable
- Streamlining processes and ensuring operational excellence
- Managing a team of Accounts Payable professionals
- Handling customer refunds and vendor accounts payable
- Collaborating with Treasury and external bank partners
- Overseeing unclaimed property escheatment and vendor 1099 process
- Managing state license, franchise, sales and use tax processes
- Assisting with lender and financial audits
- Identifying and implementing automation for process efficiency
- Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- 7 years accounting and/or audit experience in progressively elevated roles required (Fortune 500 experience preferred)
- 3 years of people management experience required
- 2 years public accounting experience preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (active or inactive) preferred
- Able to communicate with all levels and work cross functionally
- Experience with designing, implementing and measuring financial controls
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
