About the role
- Responsible for the thorough and reasonable investigation of credit disputes received through the e-Oscar system
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customers’ concerns/disputes on credit reports
- Assist with the validation of Metro2 credit reporting files prior to their transmission to the Credit Reporting Agencies
- Track and investigate customer disputes received through a variety of sources
- Assist in running daily reports
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in related field, or commensurate work experience required
- 5 years of related work experience required
- Financial industry experience preferred
- Experience servicing and reviewing customer loan accounts
- Experience and knowledge of CDIA Guidelines (Consumer Credit Reporting Guidelines)
- FCRA, credit dispute and credit reporting experience
- In-depth knowledge of consumer lending industry standards and regulations
- Familiarity with the e-Oscar system
- Attention to detail and accuracy required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
