About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee project management activities for IT and health service projects, ensuring compliance with federal and agency standards
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support the provision of medical care and development of program initiatives
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and recommend and implement mitigation strategies
- Support responses to congressional inquiries and other high-level communications
- Provide input for process improvement and policy development
- Maintain project records and ensure accurate reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives with organizational goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Project management experience required
- Demonstrated expertise managing enterprise Health IT programs consisting of multiple interrelated projects spanning clinical, technical, and operational domains
- Advanced knowledge of program governance structures, including executive steering committees, decision forums, escalation paths, and performance reporting
- Proven ability to develop and manage integrated program schedules, dependencies, cross-Unit coordination, and external stakeholders
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks, including resource constraints, integration dependencies, and operational impacts
- Experience producing executive-level briefings, decision memos, and status reports tailored to senior leadership audiences
- Demonstrated skill aligning program outcomes to organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and mission priorities
- Ability to operate effectively in environments with evolving requirements and shifting priorities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE fitness determination (public trust) and execute a DHS Non-Disclosure Agreement
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
