About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain SharePoint Online sites, intranet portals, and collaboration environments supporting HEFP SEP programs and projects
- Perform updates to SharePoint sites including lists, libraries, forms, workflows, navigation structures, and document repositories
- Develop user interfaces and web applications for SharePoint environments utilizing SharePoint Framework (SPFx), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Microsoft technologies
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and approval processes using Power Automate and SharePoint workflows
- Support data collection, statistical analysis, reporting, and visualization activities related to program performance and operational objectives
- Integrate SharePoint Business Intelligence and analytic tools including Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
- Assist customers and stakeholders with defining, refining, and implementing technical and functional requirements
- Create and maintain graphics, templates, dashboards, and visual enhancements to improve user experience and accessibility
- Support Data and Information Management activities including organization, governance, accessibility, and integrity of enterprise data and documentation
- Collaborate with program teams to improve knowledge management and information-sharing capabilities across the organization
- Support development and maintenance of searchable repositories, forms, and enterprise collaboration tools
- Utilize Agile development methodologies to deliver customer-focused web and SharePoint solutions
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and user assistance related to SharePoint sites, workflows, and integrated applications
- Ensure solutions comply with VA cybersecurity, accessibility, privacy, and information management requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, Data Science, or related technical field
- At least 3 years of experience developing and supporting SharePoint and web-based collaboration solutions; OR MS365 Certified Fundamentals, MS power platform fundamental, MS certification + 5 years’ experience
- Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks
- Experience developing workflows, forms, dashboards, and custom SharePoint functionality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support diverse stakeholder groups
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust (MBI background investigation)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; this position does not offer visa sponsorship.
