About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for large-scale federal transition assistance programs
  • Oversee program management, staffing, operational deployment, risk mitigation, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with Government leadership, ensuring all contractual deliverables, schedules, reporting requirements, and performance standards are met
  • Lead cross-functional teams responsible for curriculum development, training operations, onsite support services, data analysis, and modernization initiatives
  • Manage project implementation plans, staffing strategies, operational readiness, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with all security, privacy, and quality control requirements
  • Monitor program risks and support the delivery of transition assistance services to approximately 200,000 transitioning Service members annually across more than 300 military installations worldwide

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12 years of experience
  • Master’s degree in related field
  • 5 years of experience in managing programs of a national scope, preferable for the DoD
  • Project Management Professional certification (or equivalent industry recognized project management certification)
  • Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to marketing trends and technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government
  • Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
